About
I created the very first Time Temple in March 2014 as a birthday gift to my dying sister. It was a diorama of the beach on Lake Huron in Southampton, Ontario. I hoped that this gift would serve as a tiny portal that, for a few moments, could transport her to one of her favourite places.
Since then, I have created well over 100 Time Temples, many of them dealing with the theme of loss and the passing of time. They are my way of honouring and holding the memory of people, places, moods, dreams, and imaginings that have become a part of the past, so that they can be brought into the present and offered to the future.
